We recently completed the installation of three Fleetwood Doors in a project that used Marvin Windows and Doors throughout. The project called for using Marvin’s standard color bronze clad exterior color but the owner wanted a unique door configuration. We were able to utilize both manufacturer’s product to provide a cohesive flow within the same home. The Fleetwood doors below were finished with a 70% Kynar paint to match Marvin’s standard bronze exterior.
The large door is a four panel configuration. Due to limitations on track width we had less than four inches to accomodate the door track on the concrete slab. In order to provide a large opening in a narrow track configuration, only one of the large Fleetwood door panels is operable. Elimination of a screen on this door also allows for 1 3/4″ less track depth. The rear elevation features the Fleetwood doors below, while the other three sides of the home and second floor are all Marvin windows and doors.
