Most manufacturers provide product specific installation instructions with their windows and doors. We encourage all customers to review a copy of the installation instructions each time they install a window in order to make sure that the window / door product gets properly installed. In the event no installation instructions are provided we recommend following the industry standards. Two applicable standards for window and door installation are ASTM E2112 – 07 Standard Practice for Installation of Exterior Windows, Doors and Skylights and/or the curriculm from InstallationMasters™ Training and Certification Program
